About the Opportunity:
My client, one of the fastest-growing multi-unit consumer companies in the retail space, is looking to hire a Corporate Director of FP&A. This role offers an exceptional vantage point for an ambitious finance professional to act as the primary strategic architect for an aggressive corporate scaling initiative. You will serve as the chief financial advisor to the executive suite, commanding total ownership over the forward-looking financial roadmap and working closely with highly accomplished market leaders.
This is a high-visibility, hands-on leadership role that sits squarely at the intersection of complex financial modeling and executive-level corporate strategy. It is built specifically for a high-performing operator who wants to step away from traditional maintenance accounting and move into a high-influence position where financial insights directly steer market expansion. You will take charge of building out the organizational predictive modeling infrastructure from the ground up, turning raw store-level metrics into a unified corporate growth strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Mastermind the company-wide long-range financial modeling, forecasting frameworks, and capital allocation strategies to support rapid location expansion.
- Function as the principal financial partner to cross-functional heads, delivering actionable clarity on store-level margins, real estate investments, and operational efficiency.
- Design, implement, and scale executive-level reporting infrastructure, business intelligence dashboards, and core performance tracking matrices.
- Conduct rigorous post-investment evaluations and ROI analyses on capital deployment strategies to optimize ongoing geographic rollouts.
- Standardize financial planning processes across all corporate business units while engineering agile systems to manage rapid organizational growth.
- Recruit, mentor, and elevate a high-caliber corporate finance team focused on analytical excellence and proactive business partnership.
Must-Have Skills:
- Extensive experience heading corporate finance or FP&A functions within high-growth, multi-unit consumer sectors such as retail, hospitality, or food and beverage.
- Elite-level financial engineering and predictive modeling capabilities with a proven history of designing corporate forecasting structures from the ground up.
- Strong executive presence with a demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions and translate complex financial datasets into clear operational directives.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Active participation in corporate development activities, capital raises, or board-level presentation development.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or advanced corporate finance certification.
- Experience implementing enterprise-level corporate performance management (CPM) software or advanced business intelligence tools.
