We’re partnering with a growing specialty lender in their search for a Credit Analyst / Associate focused on ABL and middle market lending. You’ll gain hands-on experience underwriting middle market sponsor-backed companies in a variety of industries. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with senior underwriters and directors on structuring, analysis, and portfolio monitoring. Ideal candidates will have strong financial modeling and credit analysis skills, with experience in private credit or private debt. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial modeling and credit analysis to support underwriting of ABL and middle market transactions.
- Assist in structuring deals and preparing credit memos for review by senior underwriters.
- Monitor portfolio performance and support ongoing risk assessment.
- Collaborate with directors and other team members on deal execution and client due diligence.
- Support the preparation of internal reporting, documentation, and compliance materials.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, private credit, middle market lending, or specialty finance.
- Bachelor's degree qualified, ideally in finance.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
