Are you ready to drive strategic investments in Malaysia’s fast-growing innovation ecosystem? Join MTDC as a Vice President II and take a leadership role in identifying high-potential startups, managing multi-million ringgit funds, and maximising long-term returns.
🚀 What You’ll Do:
- Lead the investment process—from deal sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and execution.
- Monitor and engage with investee companies to ensure growth, compliance, and return on investment.
- Support fundraising initiatives and build relationships with potential investors and financial institutions.
- Contribute to exit strategies and ensure timely returns aligned with MTDC’s goals.
- Represent MTDC at industry events, ministries, and with stakeholders.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).
More than 10 years of experience in investment, venture capital, or fund management.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in managing large funds and investment portfolios is a plus.
