As the Corporate Controller, you will lead the core accounting function within a growing, capital-intensive organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while building scalable processes and infrastructure. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee a small but capable team and play a key role in strengthening controls, improving processes, and supporting the business through a period of rapid growth and transformation.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the full-cycle accounting function, including month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
Establishing and enhancing month-end processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
Managing tax compliance and liaising with external advisors and auditors
Supporting capital project accounting, including tracking and capitalization of large-scale investments
Leading and supporting ERP/system implementation and process improvements
Providing leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, including AR and junior staff
Partnering cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support business initiatives
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE) and internal policies
Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall finance function effectiveness This role is both hands-on and strategic, ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, leading change, and operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
