About the Role
The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, internal controls and month end close. This person will also be responsible for technical accounting oversight and will be providing insight on complex accounting issues. This individual will also partner cross-functionally with business leaders in transformation and ERP initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team in month end close and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP guidance
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely responses, documentation, and resolution of audit findings
- Enhance and maintain strong internal control framework
- Aid in critical finance transformation initiatives
- Partner with operations to identify and drive process improvements, resolve business challenges, and provide financial information to key stakeholders to assist in making strategic business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public and/or corporate accounting
- CPA certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting guidelines
