Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Controller position located in San Diego, CA. The Controller will oversee all financial operations, including managing the accounting department, preparing financial statements, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include developing budget forecasts, leading audits, monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial performance, and collaborating with leadership on financial strategies. Additionally, the Controller will be responsible for implementing internal controls, optimizing accounting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification required
  • Experience in the real estate or property management industry is required
  • Proficiency with Yardi required
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting
  • Experience with Auditing, Internal Controls, and Compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Operations, Cash Flow Management, and Payroll
  • Expertise in Financial Analysis and Strategic Financial Planning
  • Advanced skills in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
