Our Client is undergoing a large-scale modernization of its Customer Information System (CIS), reshaping how billing and customer-facing systems operate across multiple states. This role sits at the center of that effort — helping ensure regulatory, tariff, and legal requirements are built correctly into the future-state systems and processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support a multi-year CIS modernization initiative impacting billing and customer platforms
- Interpret regulatory, tariff, and legal requirements and translate them into system and process design
- Respond to discovery questions and provide guidance during design and implementation phases
- Participate in workshops, blueprinting sessions, and solution discussions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners (including major system integrators)
- Research how regulatory requirements apply across multiple states and operating entities
- Document key decisions, findings, and compliance considerations throughout the project
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Joining daily standups and cross-functional work sessions
- Partnering with business and technical teams to shape future processes
- Researching regulatory impacts on evolving systems
- Supporting design workshops and implementation discussions
- Documenting insights and aligning stakeholders across teams
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, legal, or tariff frameworks
- Experience supporting large transformation or system implementation projects
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with both business and technical teams
- Someone who thrives in fast-moving, evolving environments
Nice to Have
- Background in utilities or other highly regulated industries
- Experience with enterprise systems (CIS, ERP, CRM)
- Exposure to tools like SAP, Salesforce, Jira, or Confluence
- Experience working with consulting firms or system integrators
