Coopman Search & Selection are delighted to be partnering with a growing aviation platform to hire a Commercial Support to join their Dublin-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their career within the aviation sector, working closely with a high-performing international team in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the evaluation of investment opportunities through financial analysis and modelling.
- Conduct aircraft and engine valuation analysis and support credit assessments.
- Analyse large datasets and prepare reports to support commercial and investment decisions.
- Assist with the preparation of investment papers, presentations, and other stakeholder materials.
- Work closely with a global team across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of technology and AI-driven solutions where appropriate.
Core Competencies
- Experience within Aircraft Leasing, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a similar analytical environment.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret financial statements and perform credit analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Excellent written communication and report-writing abilities.
- Exposure to AI systems, automation, or technology implementation would be advantageous.
- A keen interest in the aviation sector and a desire to build industry expertise.
- Proven track record of high performance in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.
