We’re partnering with a top-tier investment firm specializing in direct lending, private credit, and structured financing for middle-market companies, and they’re looking to add an Associate to their growing team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone eager to drive deals, deepen credit expertise, and grow within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fundamental credit analysis on prospective and existing portfolio companies.
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate credit structures, covenants, and risk/return profiles.
- Support deal execution, including due diligence, documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
- Collaborate with senior team members on investment strategy and sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, sector performance, and regulatory developments impacting the private credit landscape.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, or related investment banking/corporate credit roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and credit analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with middle-market transactions is highly preferred.
