A growing real estate business is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support revenue reporting, forecasting and performance analysis across its portfolio. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial data, supporting commercial decision-making and partnering with operational teams to drive asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Reconciliation
- Prepare and reconcile residential and retail revenue in line with lease terms and accounting policies
- Perform reconciliations between operational systems and the general ledger
- Investigate and explain variances, maintaining clear supporting schedules for month-end and audit
Forecasting & Analysis
- Maintain asset-level forecasting models and update key assumptions including rent, occupancy and incentives
- Run scenario and sensitivity analysis to support planning and decision-making
- Produce site-level performance reporting, dashboards and variance analysis
Commercial Support
- Support pricing analysis, rent roll reviews and incentive tracking
- Assist with development appraisals and ad hoc commercial analysis
- Work with operational and asset management teams to provide financial insight
Data & Systems
- Maintain key datasets used for forecasting, reporting and pricing
- Perform data quality checks across finance and operational systems
- Support improvements to forecasting tools and reporting processes
Requirements
- Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a finance analyst or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with experience handling large datasets
- Comfortable working with financial models and communicating with non-finance stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience in property, real estate operations, BTR, PBSA or hospitality
- Exposure to revenue analysis, pricing or BI/forecasting tools
