About Us
NanoClear Systems develops a breakthrough, chemical- and energy-free water disinfection platform for the water industry, with an initial focus on recreational applications. With operations in Israel and the U.S., and multiple patents in development, we are entering a phase of rapid global commercialization and preparing for our next stage of growth.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to establish, lead, and scale NanoClear's global operations infrastructure.
Role Summary
The ideal candidate is an operational builder with a proven track record of scaling physical product companies in manufacturing-driven and mass-production industries. They combine strategic operational leadership with execution capabilities, building organizations, systems, and supply chains from the ground up while ensuring every commercial opportunity can be delivered efficiently, reliably, and at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead NanoClear’s global operations infrastructure from raw material sourcing through customer delivery, enabling rapid and scalable growth
- Establish and manage global supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, quality, inventory, logistics, and distribution capabilities
- Build scalable operational processes, systems, controls, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure
- Develop and manage global supplier, subcontract manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and strategic operational partnerships
- Build a resilient supply chain through supplier qualification, risk management, inventory planning, and business continuity processes
- Lead manufacturing readiness, NPI, BOM management, engineering changes, and the transition from product development to scaled production
- Establish quality management systems, traceability processes, continuous improvement programs, and cost-of-quality controls
- Implement Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align demand forecasts, production capacity, procurement, and inventory
- Build the operational foundation required for U.S. market entry and global expansion, supporting 5–10x company growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a COO, VP Operations, or senior operations executive in an early-stage or high-growth company
- Proven track record of building operations, supply chain, and manufacturing organizations from the ground up
- Experience scaling physical products within manufacturing-driven, industrial, or hardware businesses
- Deep understanding of supply chain management, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and global operations
- Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI), production transfer, BOM management, and engineering change processes
- Experience implementing operational systems and reporting infrastructure
- Strong understanding of contract manufacturing and supplier management across international markets
- Ability to operate independently without a large existing operations organization
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and project management skills
- Fluent English required
Highly Preferred
- Experience in water technology, pool and spa, industrial equipment, climate technology, or related hardware industries
- Experience establishing international manufacturing and distribution networks
- Experience supporting U.S. market expansion and global commercialization
- Experience building operations capable of supporting high-volume production and multi-territory growth
