Company Description
Dougherty Solutions has been exclusively retained to identify a Chief Financial Officer for a highly respected, community-based behavioral health organization in Southern Oregon. Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with the Board of Directors, the CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial direction to ensure long-term sustainability, operational strength, and continued community impact.
Role Description
This leader will oversee all financial operations, including accounting, forecasting, financial reporting, audit, compliance, contracts and grants, and advanced financial modeling. Critical to success in this role is demonstrated expertise in healthcare revenue cycle performance and the stewardship of complex funding streams, including Medicaid, federal and state contracts, and grant-funded programs.
Qualifications – We are seeking a strategic yet hands-on financial executive who:
- Brings significant senior-level experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or complex nonprofit environments
- Possesses deep command of revenue cycle oversight and public funding structures
- Navigates federal and state compliance with confidence and precision
- Advises at the Board level while remaining engaged in operational execution
- Leads with integrity, discipline, and a mission-driven mindset

Education & Professional Foundation
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline required
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit and fund accounting standards
• Demonstrated leadership within healthcare revenue cycle and grant-funded environments
