Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Financial Officer at Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénierie. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing financial statements, monitoring financial performance, and preparing timely and accurate financial reports for leadership and governing bodies. The CFO will lead the finance team, establish internal controls, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and support strategic initiatives and investments. This role also involves collaborating with academic and administrative leaders to align financial strategies with institutional goals, managing relationships with external partners and auditors, and recommending data-driven improvements to financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in senior financial leadership roles
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic financial modeling
- Expertise in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including management reporting and stakeholder communications
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and support evidence-based decisions
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are an asset
- Proven ability to lead and develop remote teams, foster collaboration, and build effective cross-functional relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience working in or with educational or non-profit institutions is beneficial
- Comfort with digital tools, ERP systems, and modern financial software platforms
