Role Description
The Business Consultant partners with clients or internal stakeholders to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for growth, and deliver strategic recommendations. This role focuses on improving efficiency, solving complex business problems, and supporting the implementation of transformation initiatives.
You will work across multiple functions such as operations, finance, IT, and strategy to ensure solutions are practical, data-driven, and aligned with business goals in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business operations, processes, and performance metrics
- Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions
- Develop business strategies, frameworks, and improvement plans
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis
- Prepare business cases, reports, and executive presentations
- Support implementation of transformation and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions
- Monitor outcomes and measure effectiveness of implemented solutions
- Build and maintain strong client or internal relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or strategy roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in business process improvement and project delivery
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Jira
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
