About The Opportunity

Our client, a leader in Biotech/Pharma, is looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst (G&A) / Junior PM to join their G&A Systems team for a 3–6 month engagement. This project involves delivering SaaS implementations and automation efforts specifically within Finance and Accounting workstreams. The role requires a versatile professional to pivot between deep functional analysis (approx. 70%) and tactical project management (approx. 30%). This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining business requirements, creating comprehensive test plans/scripts, and maintaining requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leading test planning efforts, including data staging, script execution, and tracking issue resolution.
  • Managing small-to-mid-sized projects from initiation through stabilization using SDLC, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Owning the management of risks, issues, scope, and communications, and facilitating steering committee meetings.
  • Ensuring all deliverables align with SOX and/or GxP rigor, and validating adherence to IT principles regarding integration patterns, vendor security assessments, and SSO.

Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–5 years of experience as a BSA or Functional Analyst.
  • Deep expertise in defining business requirements and leading test planning efforts. This isn't a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals, and comfortable "owning" a project.
  • Proven familiarity with SOX environments.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team.
