We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing Change & Transformation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders to deliver meaningful business change.

Based in Edinburgh city centre with hybrid working 3-days a week in the office.

You’ll play a key role in understanding business needs, shaping solutions and supporting projects from initial analysis through to delivery.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work across a variety of change initiatives, helping to ensure solutions are well defined, effectively delivered and aligned with business goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing business processes to identify requirements, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Producing clear, structured business requirements to support solution design and development
  • Developing use cases and user stories in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Mapping and assessing current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) processes
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather insights and validate requirements
  • Supporting testing and UAT activities to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Guiding business users through project delivery and change adoption
  • Contributing to project governance, planning and reporting
  • Supporting the Project Manager with business cases, workshops, RAID management and action tracking
  • Ensuring appropriate controls are maintained to mitigate risk and support compliance, including Treating Customers Fairly principles

We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Financial Services experience is helpful, but not essential
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
  • Understanding of project delivery methodologies and the project lifecycle
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders and constructively challenging where needed
  • Experience supporting business users through change and transformation initiatives
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
