About the role

This role will support core finance operations, with a primary focus on invoicing, billing, accounts receivable collections, and bookkeeping.

As we continue to build our finance team, this position offers significant room for growth. The person in this role will play a pivotal role in helping us strengthen and scale our finance function, improve financial processes, and support the business as it continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices
  • Manage billing processes and respond to client billing inquiries professionally
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and support A/R collections
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and assist with reconciliations
  • Keep financial data, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation organized and up to date
  • Support the development of efficient finance workflows and reporting processes

Qualifications

  • Based in South Africa and able to work remotely
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, collections, and bookkeeping
  • Comfortable communicating directly with clients and external stakeholders
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
