Preferred Requirements
- Maintain accurate and current financial records using Xero accounting software
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for clients' employees, ensuring adherence to Australian payroll regulations
- Calculate and deduct appropriate taxes, superannuation contributions, and other deductions
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Collaborate effectively with the Honed Accounting team to ensure outstanding client service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or payroll specialist in an Australian context
- Proficiency in advanced accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
