About The Opportunity

You will partner with the EVP of Restaurant Operations to operate the fastest growing portfolio of restaurants across North America. You will leverage your finance and operational experience gain in fast growing multi-unit businesses to drive significant value creation within the Wonder portfolio. You will evaluate revenue opportunities, optimize costs within the 4 walls, and manage the portfolio to optimize value creation, ensuring that every decision aligns to delivering exceptional experiences for the consumers.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Strategic Business Partner: Serve as a key financial partner, providing insights and analysis to drive operational efficiency, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Finance Expertise: Leverage industry specific knowledge, particularly in the 4-Wall restaurant / QSR industry to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across functions to align operational objectives / actions with our financial goals through effective communication.
  • Ownership of Restaurant P&Ls: Own the P&L and KPIs with Restaurant Operations, providing insights into business-line profitability, including analysis of COGS, labor, rent, and capital expenditures. Identify trends and opportunities across the portfolio and vs competitors.
  • Finance Partnerships: Work closely with Wonder Group FP&A and Controllership to transform our finance operations in service of the business objectives (touch forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, LT forums, etc.).
  • Automation: You will create the business models that shape our In store automation agenda to unlock capacity and unit economies while disrupting an entire Industry.

What You Bring to the Table

You have a track record of leading successful operational finance teams in high growth and multi-unit QSRs. You have strong analytical and financial modeling skills, the ability to collaborate across functions, and desire to build world class performance management operating system from scratch.

  • History of leading improvements in operational processes using financial analytics.
  • Deep understanding of restaurant P&L management and the levers to improve profitability.
  • Interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and influence decision making.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to translate financial data into actions.
  • Advanced excel, SQL, Looker, BigQuery or other data warehouse management skills to build integrated financial models and managerial reporting in a self-serve environment.

New York: $174,000 – $194,000

Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
