Join us as an AML Officer and be at the forefront of safeguarding our operations against financial crime.
In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in identifying transaction types linked to sanctioned entities, a crucial component of our Anti-money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) measures. Your critical thinking and solution-oriented approach will help us meet customer expectations while deepening your understanding of international and national regulations.
The workplace is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office.
This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.
You will:
- Detect and analyze patterns and schemes that attempt to breach financial sanctions.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve transaction screening alerts with precision.
- Apply the correct rationale to either close cases or refer them for further investigation.
- Continuously improve your expertise, internal processes, and communication skills with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams in similar functions to promote a supportive environment.
You are:
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in banking, finance, or AML sectors for officer positions
- Someone who demonstrates a keen eye for detail and strong customer focus
- Quick learner with critical thinking abilities.
- Team player with a quality-driven mindset and a proactive attitude.
- Comfortable with shifting priorities with excellent time management skills.
- You have a higher education in Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related fields – would be a benefit
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- You have an interest in AI and curiosity about how it can support smarter and more effective work

The monthly salary range is from 1440 EUR to 2160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
