Title: Accounts Receivable Officer (1 year contract)

Main Responsibilities:
1.Revenue Deduction & Programme Management:
– Manage end-to-end processing of revenue-deduction schemes including DIP, DIS, SDIP, DSM, and Gratis payments.
– Coordinate with Sales, DDT, DO&IM, and MIS teams to validate customer and sub-customer eligibility.
– Ensure accuracy of programme mechanics, results, and supporting documentation prior to Finance approval.
2.O2C Operations & Settlement:
– Support full Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle related to incentive and discount programs.
– Coordinate with PtP and AR teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement of payments.
– Monitor and resolve discrepancies with distributors and sub-distributors.
– Maintain control over accounts receivable balances linked to trade programs.
3.Reconciliation & Financial Control:
– Reconcile incentive postings with the General Ledger (GL) and sub-ledgers.
– Ensure all revenue-reduction transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with financial policies.
– Perform periodic account reconciliations and variance analysis.
– Support monthly closing activities related to revenue deductions and AR.
4.Tax & Compliance Governance:
– Work closely with the Tax team to ensure accurate issuance of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
– Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements.
– Maintain proper documentation in line with audit and internal control standards.
5.Stakeholder Management:
– Act as key finance contact for Sales, distributors, and cross-functional teams (DDT, DO&IM, MIS, Tax, PtP, AR).
– Provide timely clarification and resolution of financial queries related to incentive programs.
6.Reporting & Audit Support:
– Prepare periodic reports on revenue deductions, accruals, and settlements.
– Ensure timely validation and tracking of all revenue-reduction items.
– Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
– Participate in periodic stock counts and reconciliation activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in O2C, Accounts Receivable, or Commercial Finance
- Experience in FMCG or distributor-based business models is preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to detail
- Solid understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements
- Good command of English (verbal & non-verbal)
