Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to support one of our clients on an interim basis. In this interim capacity, you will oversee the full-cycle Accounts Payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across a high volume of transactions. Your focus will be split between maintaining operational excellence and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the AP lifecycle, ensuring all vendor payments, expense reports, and internal reconciliations are handled with precision.
- Evaluate current workflows and implement "best practice" improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
- Oversee data entry and reporting within the accounting system, ensuring clean data for month-end closing.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and internal department heads regarding payment status and budget coding.
- Ensure all AP processes align with company policies and assist with year-end audit preparation as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable management, ideally within the Real Estate or Property Management sectors.
- Yardi experience is highly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
- Proven track record of improving or automating manual AP processes.
- Ability to hit the ground running in an interim capacity with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a hybrid team and various external vendors.
