Client Overview
Vernovis is partnering with a stable, growing organization seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
What You’ll Do
- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals
- Perform three-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and execute payment runs (ACH, wire, and checks)
- Manage vendor inquiries, aging reports, and past-due balances
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Maintain vendor master data and ensure tax and compliance requirements are met
- Assist with audit requests and documentation
- Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
What Experience You’ll Have (Requirements)
- 2–5 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience
- Strong understanding of AP processes, three-way matching, and accruals
- Experience working in an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Infor, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines
What Experience Is Nice to Have (Preferences)
- Experience in a shared services or multi-entity environment
- Exposure to AP automation or OCR tools
- Experience with reporting or dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
