Position: Dynamic Finance Manager Role at MGA
Join MGA as a Finance Manager to lead financial operations and strategic initiatives from our Vancouver, BC studio. This hands-on role requires you to manage financial tracking, reporting, and operational oversight.
In this senior role, you’ll interface directly with studio leads, providing in-depth financial analysis for decision-making. Your responsibilities encompass comprehensive project finance management, compliance with tax regulations, and ensuring accurate budget forecasting. You’ll mentor an Accountant, strengthening financial controls and data accuracy across portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a key strategic partner to project managers
• Lead development of studio-wide budgets and forecasts
• Prepare timely financial reports for leadership
• Enhance billing accuracy and cash flow management
• Supervise day-to-day accounting and financial operations
Requirements:
• 7+ years in finance or accounting, preferably in professional services
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation desirable
• Proven experience in project financial management
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
