BullishIQ is partnering with a high-growth Series D startup that serves as the data factory for generative AI, enabling top AI teams to build high-quality training data pipelines at scale. Their platform combines expert on-demand labeling services with unified software to deliver high-quality, differentiated data with speed and control.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Analyst to join our client’s team in India. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role is pivotal in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice processing, payment issuance, and vendor management. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize AP operations while supporting the company’s continued growth.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to streamline and enhance AP processes, identify performance improvements, and contribute to scalability. What You’ll Do:

Process & Review: Handle purchase orders, ensuring proper approvals and documentation, and match invoices for accuracy.

Expense Management: Process credit card statements and employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Vendor Management: Set up new vendors and oversee the 1099 & W9 process to ensure compliance.

Payment Processing: Continuously review and improve vendor payment disbursements for efficiency.

Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits and maintain updated process documentation.

System & Process Improvement: Work closely with the accounting director to resolve system issues and contribute to overall AP process enhancements.

Collaboration & Cross-Training: Partner with other accounting team members to ensure smooth operations and proper coverage.

Special Projects: Take ownership of various ad-hoc projects and contribute to the department’s continuous improvement efforts.

What You Should Have:

5+ years of accounts payable or related experience (more is preferred).

Intermediate accounting knowledge with a strong understanding of AP best practices.

Experience with large ERP systems (NetSuite, Expensify, TripActions, Bill.com preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and Word.

Exceptional organizational, time management, and teamwork skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to accommodate global working hours.

The client offers a comprehensive compensation package for this role, including a base salary and equity. The final offer is determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training.
