Job Context:
Oversee daily accounting operations, prepare management accounts, and deliver profitability analyses to support strategic decisions. Drive monthly sales projections, standardize financial reporting, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payment collections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present management accounts status reports at regular intervals for operational requirements and management consideration.
- Provide a financial report template to the team and implement a standardized financial extract/export process to streamline Finance & Accounting operations.
- Monitor day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver timely profitability analyses on a monthly basis to support the marketing efforts of the business.
- Drive monthly sales projections, ensuring accurate forecasts and timely receipt of liability payments.
- Provide reliable and comprehensive financial reports to facilitate strategic decision-making for senior management.
- Contribute to the formulation of effective business strategies based on a thorough understanding of the financial landscape.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement streamlined procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure optimal production operations.
- Explore and integrate innovative technologies to automate and improve financial and operational processes.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in finance or a related field.
- Professional qualification with CMA, CFA certification will be preferred.
- 7-8 years of proven experience in a similar role within the apparel manufacturing industry.
Additional Requirements:
- Software Skills: Excel, PowerBi.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in standardizing financial processes and implementing extract/export mechanisms.
- Excellent understanding of inventory management and production cost analysis.
- Familiarity with day-to-day accounts operations, financial consolidation, and budget preparation.
- Ability to drive sales projections and ensure timely payment collections.
