AED 7,000 – 9,000 per month (depending on experience)
Our client is looking for an accounting supervisor to join their team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience in client accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance who is looking to develop their career within a professional services environment.
You will manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of accurate accounting, tax, and compliance services while building trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial records.
- Prepare and file VAT and Corporate Tax returns in accordance with UAE regulations.
- Advise clients on VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, ESR, UBO, and other applicable compliance requirements.
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to client queries and provide timely, professional advice on accounting and taxation matters.
- Maintain accurate financial records, trackers, and management reports.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality service delivery.
- Support the wider team with additional duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA qualification (or currently pursuing).
- 1–2 years' relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of one year working in the UAE.
- Previous experience within an accounting or professional services firm is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
This role is based in Dubai full time and requires someone who has worked in the professional services field. Paying between AED 7000 – 9000 per month depending on experience.
