Job Summary
An international organisation is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its team as an Accounting Manager. The role involves hands-on support across monthly close processes, statutory accounting, tax compliance, and process improvement. The successful candidate will collaborate with finance operations teams, external service providers, and advisors to ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for one or multiple entities or regions
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of trial balances, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities
- Support preparation of VAT, corporate tax, and statutory filings in collaboration with external advisors
- Act as a key liaison with outsourced finance providers across R2R, O2C, and P2P processes
- Prepare audit documentation and internal reports, ensuring adherence to internal control standards
- Contribute to process standardisation, automation initiatives, and system implementations
- Work cross-functionally with regional, local, and centralised teams
- Collaborate with regional finance leadership and operations teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance or accounting, ideally within a Big 4 environment
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
- Familiarity with financial compliance regulations across one or more EU countries is advantageous
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Additional language skills (Arabic, German, Spanish, or French) are highly desirable
- Experience in a matrix organisation and/or shared services environment is a plus
