Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes within the organization
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
- Perform double entry bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights on company performance to management
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage for efficient data management and reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting and analysis
- Support private equity transactions by preparing relevant documentation and reports as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in an accounting role, with a focus on financial report writing and analysis
- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively
- Strong analytical skills with experience in payroll processing preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
