Operations Analyst Intern Jobs in United States at de Anda Capital
Title: Operations Analyst Intern
Company: de Anda Capital
Location: United States
We’re hiring an Operations Analyst Intern at De Anda Capital. Here’s what the role actually is.
De Anda Capital is a principal-led firm with 140+ completed transactions across private equity, venture capital, and search fund structures. We work directly with founders and operators to source, diligence, acquire, and scale businesses. The Ops Analyst role sits at the operational core of that work.
This is a systems and execution role.
You’ll work alongside Hamza and the broader ops team to build, document, and improve the processes that keep our portfolio companies and internal workflows running. That means drafting SOPs, mapping workflows, identifying gaps in operational infrastructure, and helping implement fixes. The scope is real and the output matters from day one.
This is not a shadow-the-senior-person internship. You’ll own deliverables.
What You’ll Work On
• Building and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) across portfolio functions
• Workflow mapping and process documentation for internal and platform operations
• Supporting project and program management across active workstreams
• Coordinating cross-functional execution with the deal and platform teams
• Identifying operational bottlenecks and contributing to solutions
You Might Be a Fit If
→ You’ve built, followed, or improved a process someone else had to rely on
→ You know what an SOP is and have actually written one — or wish you had been asked to
→ You’ve worked in a fast-moving environment (startup, VC-backed company, or similar) and kept things organized anyway
→ You think in systems: inputs, outputs, dependencies, failure points
→ You have exposure to property or asset management (preferred, not required)
→ Your background is in Ops, Finance, or Sales — what matters is that you’re process-driven
→ Project or program management experience is a plus, not a prerequisite
What We’re Not Looking For
Purely conceptual thinkers without execution evidence. If you’ve never had to operationalize an idea, this role will be a difficult fit. We want people who are comfortable in the details, not allergic to them.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Rising senior (preferred)
• Background in Operations, Finance, or Sales — process orientation is the requirement
• Experience in venture-backed startup environments or project/program management (soft requirement)
• Property management exposure is a plus
Program Structure
This is a performance-based internship-to-hire program. Phase 1 is the analyst internship — real execution across operations and process infrastructure. Top performers move to a Phase 2 paid analyst training period with increased responsibility and clear benchmarks. Strong performers from that phase may be offered a full-time role at De Anda or one of its affiliated platforms.
What You’ll Actually Build
Direct exposure to how businesses are operated and scaled — not just analyzed. You’ll leave with documented artifacts, process maps, and operational playbooks that reflect work you actually did.
