Role Summary
A hands-on accountant who owns the full accounting cycle independently today, and is on a fast track to become the group's future finance leader. The role is built for a high-potential junior – technically strong, commercially curious, and ready to grow into senior finance leadership.
The company operates across multiple business lines: FinTech, Global Trading and Digital Services. We run on activity-based accounting principles – cost, margin, and profitability are always viewed by activity, project, and business unit. Financial analysis and insight generation are core to the role.

Key Responsibilities
I. Core accounting & reporting
- Financial reporting: monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in line with IFRS / local GAAP
- GL management: chart of accounts, journal entries, trial balance, and ledger integrity
- Closing cycles: end-to-end month-end and year-end closing on schedule
- AP & AR: vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and aging analysis
- Payroll: processing, accruals, and statutory deductions
- Tax compliance: VAT, corporate tax, and statutory filings – timely and accurate
- Reconciliations: bank, intercompany, balance sheet, and sub-ledger
II. Financial analysis & insights
- Activity-based cost allocation across business units, partners, projects, and activities
- Budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control with actionable commentary
- Translate numbers into insights – margin leakage, cost inefficiencies, and growth levers
III. FinOps support
- Support FinOps from an accounting angle – transaction posting, settlement reconciliation, and FinTech-entity reporting
- Partner with FinOps / Tech to resolve reconciliation breaks and ensure clean books for the FinTech business
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally with multi-entity or group exposure
- Demonstrated ability to handle the full accounting cycle independently, with minimal supervision
- Solid grasp of accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations in Egypt
- Hands-on Odoo accounting experience (full accounting modules)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
Strong Pluses
- FinTech / payments / e-commerce / marketplace background – exposure to FinOps reconciliation, settlement flows, or transaction-level reporting
- Comfortable handling large transaction datasets and reconciliation logic
- Progress toward CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
