We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Accountant Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while supporting both operational and management reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Manage full sets of accounts, including review of sales and purchase transactions, accounts receivable/payable ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules, accruals, and other related accounting functions.

• Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and financial analysis as required.

• Perform cash flow management activities and monitor company liquidity positions.

• Review and guide Accounts Executives to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting deliverables.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.

• Support group audits, local statutory audits, and valuation processes by coordinating documentation and responding to audit queries.

• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax regulations, and internal company policies.

• Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.

• Drive process improvements and support finance system enhancement initiatives.

• Undertake additional duties, projects, or assignments as delegated by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably within listed companies or group structures.

• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit practices.

• Strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, people-management, and organisational skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (excluding public holidays)
