Join our client as a Junior Finance Analyst, where you'll play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and business operations.
What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting
– Prepare Weekly Shipment Reports and Order Status Reports for Sales and CS&L review and finance forecasting.
– Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance decks / dashboards.
Month-End Close
– Prepare journal entries and provide updates on posting status and accuracy.
– Perform month-end landing checks and ad-hoc closing analysis to ensure reporting completeness.
– Perform Balance Sheet reconciliation and variance analysis for Trade Spend, AnC and Overheads.
– Support supervisor on other month-end closing activities.
– Prepare quarterly Sales Controlling sign-off letters and Revenue Recognition Checklists for submission.
– Upload monthly volume, revenue, and risk & opportunity figures into the business planning system.
Overhead Management
– Submit and track the monthly rolling forecast for overhead costs, including accrual posting and actuals reconciliations.
– Manage monthly cross-charges for Malaysia and Egypt-based employees on local payroll.
– Oversee quarterly bad debt review.
Pricing Administration
– Update master price list, oversee SKU / Category margins regularly.
– Set up product price links and track pricing movements, follow up with approvals in accordance with the policies.
Backup Coverage
– Compile and submit weekly in-market sales figures received from distributors.
– Review and submit monthly Net Revenue landing estimates to the regional team.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Strong Excel skills (SAP experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- FMCG or multinational exposure is an advantage
