About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our team in Tartu. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording and reconciling bank transactions
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers, communicating with customers and suppliers to reconcile and resolve differences
- Preparing and processing payments
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures and annual audit preparation
- Supporting the finance team with regular accounting matters and ad hoc requests
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy – ability to track, manage, and reconcile payments
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills – ability to handle payment-related inquiries with a solution-oriented mindset
- Proactive and adaptable – comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Directo is an advantage
- Several years of experience in finance, accounting, or accounts receivable or payable
- Fluent in Estonian and English
- Ability to work from our office in Tartu, Estonia
