Location: Amsterdam
Time Commitment: 2 days per week (starting April 2026)
The role
Are you passionate about finance and climate impact? Carbon Equity is looking for a highly motivated Finance or Accountancy student to support our Finance team starting 1 April 2026. You'll work closely with our Financial Controller, keeping day-to-day financial administration running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional, international environment — while contributing directly to a company with real-world impact.
What You'll Do
- Process incoming invoices
- Review and post transactions in Moss and Exact Online
- Help keep the financial administration accurate and up to date
- Flag irregularities and report back to the finance manager
- Provide ad hoc administrative support around reporting and audit preparation
What You Bring
- You're enrolled in an HBO or Bachelor's programme in Accountancy, Finance & Control, or similar
- You're available for at least 16 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
- You work accurately, stay organised, and take ownership of your tasks
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting software is a plus
- You communicate clearly; Dutch and/or English is fine
