Responsibilities and qualifications for a Workday Finance Functional role.
Responsibilities:
Client Deliverables :
Handling complex tasks and ensuring quality is a key aspect.
Workday Solutions :
Understanding client requirements and implementing Workday solutions to optimize their finance functions and improve employee experiences.
System Configurations :
Configuring the tenant’s business processes, security policies, and business configurations.
Data Conversion :
Using tools like EIB, iLoad, and Cloud Loader to manage data conversion processes.
Testing :
Handling data validation, unit testing, and supporting end-to-end testing.
Migration and Hypercare :
Supporting migration and providing post-go-live support.
Certifications:
Must Have :
Workday Financial Essentials OR Workday Financial Practical OR One Pillar certification (R2R, P2P, or C2C)
Desirable :
Certifications in Workday FDM (Foundation Data Model), Business Assets, Banking and Settlement, Projects, or Expenses.
Experience & Background:
Educational Qualifications :
BE/B.Tech, MBA (Finance), or CA.
Experience :
4-14 years in IT.
At least 3.5 years in implementing or supporting Workday solutions.
Completion of at least one full implementation cycle with Workday Financials.
