We are currently recruiting for a Wholesale Banking Operations specialist within Corporate Lending & Trade Finance, within a leading global bank in Sydney.
This role is best suited to someone with regional APAC operations experience and strong exposure to wholesale banking products, including corporate lending, trade finance, commodity finance and/or value chain finance.
You’ll be supporting corporate and institutional banking clients across Asia Pacific, working closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Relationship Management, Treasury, Markets and Compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting APAC corporate banking operations across lending, payments, settlements and reconciliations
- Processing and monitoring wholesale banking transactions
- Managing operational queries and issue resolution across regional markets
- Supporting corporate lending, trade finance, commodity finance or value chain finance activity
- Liaising with internal teams and corporate clients to ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time
- Working within SLAs, controls, policies and regional compliance requirements
What I’m looking for:
- Experience in corporate or wholesale banking operations
- Strong knowledge of wholesale banking products
- Exposure to corporate lending products, trade finance, commodity finance or value chain finance
- Regional experience across APAC markets will be highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across multiple locations
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage time-sensitive transactions
Role details:
- Sydney CBD
- Hybrid working: 3 days WFH, 2 days in office
- APAC coverage role
- Hours: 12:30pm to 9:00pm during non-daylight savings
11:30am to 8:00pm during daylight savings
This is not a general payments processing role. The ideal candidate will have worked in a corporate or wholesale banking environment and understand regional banking operations across APAC.
