The VP will operate at the intersection of strategy, commercial execution, and innovation, identifying new market opportunities and translating them into scalable business initiatives. This role plays a critical part in aligning internal teams around growth priorities while also engaging externally with partners, investors, and enterprise clients.

You will lead the development of go-to-market strategies, oversee high-value partnership negotiations, and support the commercialization of new offerings.

The position requires a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with direct impact on revenue growth and market penetration.

Operating in a highly cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution.

This is a high-visibility leadership role suited for a commercial strategist who thrives in complex, fast-moving healthcare and digital health ecosystems.

Accountabilities

  • Lead market strategy development, including expansion into new regions, customer segments, and distribution channels.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory landscapes to inform strategic direction.
  • Identify and prioritize white-space opportunities and translate insights into actionable growth strategies.
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships, alliances, and enterprise deals that drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee the full business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract execution and post-deal integration.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to align commercial strategies and ensure execution of growth initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and value propositions for new offerings, ensuring alignment between market needs and product capabilities.
  • Lead cross-functional execution efforts to drive customer acquisition, retention, and long-term value creation.
  • Provide strategic leadership and influence senior stakeholders to align around key growth priorities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial strategy and business development function.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in strategy, business development, or commercial leadership, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through market expansion, partnerships, or new product commercialization.
  • Strong experience within healthcare, digital health, payer, employer, or health plan ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing complex enterprise deals and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business decisions.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams with clear accountability and performance standards.
  • Executive presence with strong communication and external representation skills across clients, partners, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, mission-driven environments with a strong focus on impact and execution.
