Our client is a global financial services firm. They seek a VP of Shared Services FP&A to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Support Shared Services FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and cost center management
- Maintain allocation methodologies, supporting data, governance processes, and recurring management reporting
- Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, stronger controls, and process standardization
- Champion AI and automation initiatives through workflow redesign, reporting enhancements, template development, and prompt engineering
- Document finance processes, identify operational improvements, and prioritize scalable solutions
- Enhance executive reporting and management analytics by improving consistency, efficiency, and actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement sustainable process improvements across Shared Services
- Train users on new workflows, maintain process documentation, and support adoption of enhanced operating procedures
Requirements
- 6-8 years of FP&A and corporate finance experience
- Experience in shared services, corporate functions, or back office finance
- Strong FP&A fundamentals: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, allocation logic, and management reporting
- Experience improving manual finance workflows using AI and automation, documenting processes, redesigning recurring deliverables, or implementing more scalable planning/reporting tools
- Hands-on experience with AI tools
