About the Role We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven VP Finance to take ownership of the financial strategy and stewardship of our Thailand Business. Acting as a core strategic partner to the Thailand CEO and HQ, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting the sustainable expansion of Jetts Thailand’s club network.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly bridge high-level strategy with operational execution, building scalable financial infrastructures and leading a high-performing finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership: Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Deliver clear KPI reporting, unit economics, and club-level profitability insights to the leadership team.
- Partner with operations to translate complex financial data into actionable business decisions, improving pricing, retention, and productivity.
Investment & Expansion (Multi-Site Portfolio): Lead financial evaluation, ROI, IRR, and payback analysis for new clubs, refurbishments, and expansion initiatives.
- Drive disciplined CAPEX planning across club fit-outs, equipment, and technology, alongside OPEX cost optimization.
Financial Operations, Governance & Systems: Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of our ERP system.
- Drive the transition to a fully implemented accrual accounting framework.
- Enforce robust financial policies, internal controls, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
Statutory Reporting & Compliance: Deliver accurate management and statutory reporting in line with local and Group standards.
- Manage audits, tax matters, and act as the primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and FLG Group finance.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and build cross-functional collaboration within the Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with demonstrated success as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance executive.
- Strong background in retail, consumer, or multi-site operating environments.
- Proven end-to-end ERP implementation experience.
- Advanced financial modeling, feasibility assessments, and investment analysis skills.
- Deep capability in cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Resilient, solutions-focused, and capable of performing under pressure. Effective leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Key Mandates & Success Measures
- Successfully transition the business to a fully implemented accrual accounting framework.
- Oversee the seamless integration and adoption of the ERP implementation.
- Streamline finance processes with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and forward-looking cash reporting.
- Deliver accurate monthly P&L reporting with meaningful performance insights to support Jetts Thailand's aggressive growth trajectory.
- Complete the annual audit within required timeframes with minimal adjustments.
