We are looking for an experienced Cost Control Lead (VILC Lead) to drive cost excellence, governance, and operational performance across our brewery network.
This role sits at the heart of Finance and Operations — leading a team of Brewery Controllers, ensuring cost accuracy, strengthening controls, and driving continuous improvement across the business unit.
As the Cost Control Lead (VILC Lead), you will:
- Lead and develop a team of Brewery Controllers, ensuring accurate and reliable cost reporting
- Act as the first line of defense for financial governance and cost control at BU level
- Ensure actual costs reflect operational reality and align with corporate standards and accounting principles
- Drive the implementation and optimization of cost control processes and procedures
- Own cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing methodologies across the BU
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Production, and Commercial teams to drive performance and efficiency
- Lead month‑end close from a cost and operational finance perspective
- Perform deep variance analysis (actual vs standard vs budget) and translate insights into actions
- Oversee cost allocation, inventory valuation, and compliance with financial accounting standards
- Manage cost audits, interpret results, and present insights to senior leadership
- Drive process improvement and automation across costing and inventory processes
- Monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and COGS performance
- Support and influence decision-making through strong financial storytelling
- Develop and track key supply chain KPIs impacting financial performance
- Train and guide SAP users on correct processes and movement types
- Oversee physical inventory processes, including cycle counts and stock audits
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, or related field)
- 5–8+ years’ experience in cost accounting within FMCG / manufacturing
- Strong experience in standard costing, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders
- Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume operational environments
