Job Overview
The Vice President, Project Management will serve as a senior executive leader responsible for overseeing Cattra Advisory’s global project management function, ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives across clients, internal programs, and partnerships.
Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, this role will lead enterprise project governance, delivery frameworks, and execution strategy—ensuring alignment between client objectives, technology implementation, and business outcomes.
The VP of Project Management will play a critical role in driving execution excellence, managing complex multi-stakeholder programs, and enabling scalable delivery across fintech, capital markets, and institutional environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial services, fintech transformation, or large-scale program management, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage risk, and deliver results in complex, global environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution Excellence
Lead and oversee the delivery of complex, multi-phase projects across financial technology, capital markets, and advisory engagements.
Establish best-in-class project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures.
Ensure consistent execution quality, timeline adherence, and delivery against defined objectives.
Drive program-level oversight across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Enterprise Project Governance & Framework Development
Design and implement enterprise-wide project governance standards, tools, and reporting structures.
Define project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) aligned with client and internal needs.
Ensure transparency, accountability, and disciplined execution across all programs.
Standardize project controls, documentation, and operational processes.
Strategic Program & Portfolio Management
Manage strategic program portfolios aligned with Cattra Advisory’s business priorities and client engagements.
Prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, resource allocation, and execution feasibility.
Track performance across programs using KPIs, milestones, and value delivery metrics.
Provide executive-level reporting and insights to support decision-making.
Client Delivery & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a senior point of contact for clients on project execution, delivery strategy, and issue resolution.
Manage relationships with institutional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
Coordinate across client teams, internal teams, and external partners.
Ensure delivery excellence that reinforces Cattra Advisory’s reputation as a trusted execution partner.
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across complex, cross-functional programs.
Manage interdependencies across projects, teams, and external stakeholders.
Establish escalation frameworks and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Align with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to support regulated environments.
Data-Driven Execution & Performance Optimization
Implement performance tracking systems linking project delivery to business outcomes.
Leverage data, analytics, and reporting tools to improve execution efficiency and transparency.
Continuously refine delivery processes based on insights and lessons learned.
Drive operational excellence through automation and process optimization.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global project management team.
Foster collaboration across strategy, technology, consulting, and operations teams.
Develop talent pipelines, leadership capabilities, and succession planning.

Qualifications
20+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, or operational leadership within financial services, fintech, or capital markets.
Proven success in delivering large-scale, complex transformation programs.
Strong understanding of financial systems, technology platforms, and institutional environments.
Experience working with executive leadership, clients, and cross-functional global teams.
Expertise in project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, and execution skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
