Role Description The Vice President of the Financial Systems Division is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and aligning the bank’s financial systems with organizational goals. This role includes managing and improving financial reporting processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and providing analytical insights to senior leadership. The Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial planning, streamline financial statement production, and support regulatory and compliance requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, leading system upgrades or implementations, developing and refining financial policies and procedures, and mentoring team members within the division. The individual in this role will also work closely with IT and operations to ensure that financial systems are secure, efficient, and supportive of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning, with demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Experience managing or leading financial systems or financial operations in a banking or financial services environment is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency with financial software, reporting tools, and core banking systems, along with a solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
