Position Overview
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for leading day-to-day operational execution across Company’s core business lines. This role ensures alignment of processes, systems, and teams to deliver consistent, high-quality results and support continued growth.
This role has direct accountability for driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and margin expansion across designated business lines, while building scalable infrastructure to support enterprise growth.
This role will initially report to the COO, with a planned transition to the President/CFO as part of the broader executive succession strategy.
The position is intentionally structured as a key leadership pipeline role, with a defined pathway to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position upon demonstrated readiness and organizational transition.
The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and drive performance metrics across assigned business lines.
- Drive revenue growth initiatives in partnership with Business Leaders, including expansion of existing services, new market penetration, and cross-functional opportunities.
- Improve profitability and operating margins through disciplined cost management, pricing alignment, and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain direct accountability for P&L performance of key business lines, including Recovery, Cannabis, and Economic Development
- Work directly with Business Leaders to execute strategic and targeted initiatives.
- Standardize and improve enterprise-wide operational processes.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and productivity optimization
- Ensure high-quality client delivery and service consistency.
- Develop leaders and build accountability across teams.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across operations, finance, technology, and sales.
First 12 Months Success Profile
- Deliver measurable revenue growth and earnings performance across Recovery, Cannabis, and Economic Development business lines.
- Establish enterprise KPIs and dashboards to track performance, productivity, and growth.
- Identify and execute margin improvement initiatives through evaluation of people, processes, and technology.
- Improve operational efficiency within assigned business lines.
- Build leadership bench strength and strengthen accountability across teams.
- Demonstrate ability to scale impact to enterprise-wide operational leadership.
- Demonstrate readiness for expanded scope and role.
Long-Term Growth Path
This role is intentionally structured as a succession pathway to the COO position, expanding into enterprise leadership, transformation initiatives, and M&A integration over time.
Future scope will include enterprise-wide revenue, earnings, and operational performance in partnership with executive leadership.

Salary Range
- $195,000 – $245,000 per year
Location
On-site in North Orange County area preferred. Remote candidates will be considered with regular travel required.
