Overview

A rapidly growing, Texas-based senior living operator is seeking a VP of Finance to lead the finance function during a period of significant expansion.

This organization operates a portfolio of multi-site healthcare assets and is continuing to grow, creating a high-impact opportunity for a finance leader to support operational scale and performance.

This is a hands-on, operator-focused finance leadership role with responsibility for cash flow management, financial reporting, and business partnership across the organization. The VP of Finance will work closely with ownership to drive performance, support expansion efforts, and lead the finance function end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the finance function end-to-end, including reporting, forecasting, and performance visibility across all communities
  • Lead cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to support continued growth and acquisition activity
  • Partner closely with ownership on financial strategy, performance tracking, and business decisions
  • Support acquisition and expansion efforts, including financial modeling, lender reporting, and integration support
  • Manage and oversee lender relationships, financial reporting requirements, and vendor partnerships
  • Lead and develop the finance team, including offshore team members and an offshore Director of Finance
  • Drive improvements in AR, collections, and operational finance workflows
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across a multi-entity, multi-site environment

Required Background

  • 8–15+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Experience leading finance in a multi-site or multi-entity business
  • Strong background in cash flow management, financial reporting, and forecasting
  • Proven ability to operate as a business partner to leadership
  • Experience managing or overseeing distributed or offshore finance teams
  • Exposure to or participation in acquisitions, integrations, or growth initiatives

Preferred Background

  • Senior living, assisted living, or broader healthcare experience
  • Experience in multi-location healthcare or services businesses (e.g., senior living, hospital system, dental, therapy, outpatient, etc.)
  • Experience working with lenders, debt structures, or financing partners

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Improve cash visibility and financial reporting cadence
  • Establish stronger operating rhythm across finance and AR/collections
  • Bring structure and leadership to the existing finance team
  • Support near-term growth and acquisition initiatives

Compensation

Compensation for this role is market-aligned and competitive, with flexibility based on experience and level. This position is also eligible for performance-based bonus. Full compensation details will be shared and discussed transparently during the interview process.
