II. Job Overview
Responsible for establishing, improving, and overseeing the company's overall compliance system to ensure that company operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, reduce legal and reputational risks, and support the company's sound development.
III. Core Responsibilities
1. Compliance System Construction
Establish and continuously optimize the company's compliance management framework (Policies & Procedures)
Develop company codes of conduct and internal control systems
Promote the implementation of a compliance culture within the organization
2. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations (e.g., medical, financial, data privacy)
Ensure company operations comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOX)
Liaison with regulatory agencies and cooperate with inspections and audits
3. Risk Management and Internal Control
Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks
Establish internal audit and monitoring mechanisms
Promote corrective measures and track their implementation
4. Investigation and Violation Handling
Lead internal compliance investigations (e.g., fraud, bribery, data breaches)
Develop corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Report major risk events to senior management or the board of directors
5. Training and Culture Building
Design and implement employee compliance training programs
Enhance employee risk awareness and ethical standards
Establish a whistleblower program
6. Cross-departmental collaboration
Collaborate with legal, finance, human resources, internal audit, and other departments
Support business departments in compliance assessments for new projects (such as mergers and acquisitions, overseas expansion)
IV. Qualifications
Education Background
Bachelor's degree or above in law, finance, auditing, business management, or related fields
Master's or MBA preferred
Work Experience
20+ years of experience in compliance/risk control/audit/legal affairs
5+ years of management experience (team or cross-regional)
Background in healthcare, finance, or multinational corporations preferred
Professional Skills
Familiar with regulatory systems (such as FDA, SEC, CMS, etc., depending on the industry)
In-depth understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and internal control frameworks
Familiar with international compliance systems (such as anti-corruption, data privacy, export control)
Certifications (Bonus Points)
CPA / CMA
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
