Element Six is retained to appoint a Senior Director / VP Analytics. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can build and lead a high-impact function at the intersection of analytics, customer delivery, and product influence. It is a build-and-lead opportunity for someone who can bring stronger structure, leadership, and operating rigor to a growing function.

Your role

You will lead and operationalize the Analytics function to make it a stronger, more scalable part of how the business delivers measurable portfolio performance. You will lead a small player-coach team and work across Product, Sales, CX, and Operations.

Core areas of focus include:

  • Building more structure around how work is prioritized, delivered, reviewed, and communicated
  • Strengthening capability around asset lifecycle management and reliability
  • Partnering cross-functionally to turn analysis into practical action and business value

Why this role is attractive

  • This opportunity offers something hard to find, portfolio scale, operational complexity, and real room to shape a function.
  • The business supports large, distributed customer environments across multiple sectors and needs someone who can combine leadership maturity, technical credibility, and operational judgment to help scale the next phase of the function.
  • For the right person, this is a chance to step into a visible leadership role with real influence, while staying close to the work to shape standards, guide decisions, and build team capability.

What you bring

  • We're looking to speak with leaders who bring technical credibility and operational judgment from areas such as energy analytics, asset management, portfolio performance, lifecycle strategy, building systems, EMS/BMS, facilities performance, or related engineering-led environments.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in energy analytics, asset management, portfolio performance, or data-driven performance roles, including senior leadership accountability
  • You have led teams, built stronger operating cadence, delivery rigor, and partnered effectively with product, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
  • The strongest fit is someone who still enjoys rolling up their sleeves and can turn complex analysis into clear, actionable outcomes.
