A well-established real estate family office is seeking a Vice President of Accounting and Finance to join its growing team. The firm manages a diversified portfolio across real estate and private investments and offers a highly entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to senior leadership and investment activity.

This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing finance professional who is looking to step into a broad, strategic role with clear long-term growth potential, including a defined path toward a CFO position.

This role may be a fit if you:

• Are a CPA with 5–8+ years of progressive experience and a strong track record of advancement based on performance.

• Are seeking a more visible, impactful role within a lean organization where you can take ownership of the finance function.

• Are comfortable operating both tactically and strategically—equally capable of managing financial reporting and engaging with investors or external stakeholders.

• Are motivated by long-term career growth and interested in contributing to business strategy, not just financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities, including investment vehicles and operating companies.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate audits, tax compliance, and banking relationships in partnership with external advisors.

• Support transaction activity, including due diligence, structuring, and post-close integration.

• Develop financial models, cash flow analyses, and investor reporting materials.

• Enhance internal controls, systems, and processes to support continued growth.

• Act as a key liaison with lenders, investors, auditors, and other third parties.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation required with strong knowledge of GAAP.

• 5–8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; public accounting background preferred.

• Experience with multi-entity structures, consolidated reporting, or investment-related accounting.

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with common accounting platforms.

• Prior exposure to real estate, private equity, or investment management is a plus.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.

• Self-starter mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
