Role Overview:
We are expanding our
leadership
team and looking for an experienced and
entrepreneurial
Vice President to co-lead investment efforts, deepen our sectoral expertise, and scale our impact across India and globally. As a Vice President, you will play a key
leadership
role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments. This role requires strong investment acumen and a
proven track record
in venture capital.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive overall investment strategy in
collaboration
with other partners.
Source, evaluate, and lead high-potential investments aligned with the fund’s thesis.
Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, investors, and industry leaders to identify high-potential investment opportunities in areas such as Deeptech, Agritech, and Climate tech.
Lead due diligence,
financial modeling
, and investment structuring while managing negotiations and closing processes.
Represent the fund on the boards of portfolio companies and actively guide founders.
Monitor portfolio performance, support growth strategies, and facilitate follow-on funding.
Navigate exits (M&A, IPOs) in
collaboration
with founders and fellow investors.
Play a key role in LP communications
Represent the fund at industry events, ecosystem round tables, and policy forums.
Qualifications &
Experience:
10+ years of experience in venture capital, with a strong track record of successful exits at a leading venture capital fund.
Demonstrated success in sourcing, leading, and managing investments, with notable exits in India.
Deep understanding of at least one core sector: agritech, deeptech, or climate tech.
Familiarity with India’s regulatory and policy landscape is preferred
Entrepreneurial
mindset, high intellectual curiosity, and a strong drive to shape the future of venture investing.
MBA, or a relevant finance degree, preferred
Global perspective with local execution experience.
