Unity Search has partnered with a fast-growing, international Retail/Distribution company in the DFW area in its search for VP of Finance and Accounting. Reporting directly to the President and based at the corporate headquarters, this person will have ultimate responsibility for all accounting and finance functions of the company including but not limited *****
Primary **
Serve as the top ranked finance person in the organization and will be the “right hand” to the President
Train and mentor accounting staff – including a strong Corporate Accounting Manager – and have ultimate oversight on accounting
Present financial updates/board decks at quarterly board meetings and provide necessary guidance
Prepare all budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis for the President and the board
Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with attorneys, CPAs, banks, and consultants
For anticipated acquisitions of the company, direct the due diligence process with consultants and assist with the integration of acquired companies.

CPA highly preferred
10+ years of relevant accounting foundation with some recent FP&A experience
At least limited exposure to Inventory highly preferred via exposure to a Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer Products or Retail industry company required
Demonstrated supervisory ability
Ability and desire to think at a high level and yet also comfortable diving into the details when necessary
Good communication/presentation skills required
